Monterey Music Group Nashville, is the Music division of Mesa Media. MMG was Formally BAM Records Global and was formed in the late 90s by the Founder, President and CEO of The Network Mr. Jerry Roy. Mr. Roy signed Produced and Managed Artist from around the world.  B A M Records was always in Billboard top 5 as a Management Company and a Record Label  and enjoyed much success on the Modern Rock charts.

Mr. Roy worked for years with Jeff Davis of JDA & Associates as the Radio promoter for the label and after many Meetings and late night conversations Mr. Roy asked Mr. Davis to join the Label as Director of Operations. Mr. Davis joined BAM Records in 2009 and after years of working in Rock Music decided in 2016 to move the label from Los Angles and New York to Nashville Tennessee and take the label Country.

The decision was a good one, the Label is gaining traction as a contender in the Nashville Country Music arena.  MMG plans to operate as a Boutique Label, signing only recognized acts with a history in Sales and Touring. The MMG Label will be a one stop shop for Artist that will include Recording, Publishing, Booking, Management, Radio Promotion, Marketing, Promotion, Product Distribution, Publishing, Film and Television Placement. Monterey Music Group will also include a Development arm of the Label for new up and coming Talent.

BAM Records and Backstage Artist Management was in Business for over 30 years and was known in the music Industry for Producing Rock Artist around the Globe. Monterey Music Group is the New Boutique approach to Producing Music and plans to be a force in Country Music.

 

Music industry

The music industry consists of the individuals and organizations that earn money by writing songs and musical compositions, creating and selling recorded music and sheet music, presenting concerts, as well as the organizations that aid, train, represent and supply music creators. Among the many individuals and organizations that operate in the industry are: the songwriters and composers who write songs and musical compositions; the singersmusiciansconductors, and bandleaders who perform the music; the record labelsmusic publishersrecording studiosmusic producersaudio engineers, retail and digital music stores, and performance rights organizations who create and sell recorded music and sheet music; and the booking agentspromotersmusic venuesroad crew, and audio engineers who help organize and sell concerts.

The industry also includes a range of professionals who assist singers and musicians with their music careers. These include, talent managersartists and repertoire managers, business managersentertainment lawyers; those who broadcast audio or video music content (satelliteInternet radio stationsbroadcast radio and TV stations); music journalists and music criticsDJsmusic educators and teachersmusical instrument manufacturers; as well as many others. In addition to the businesses and artists there are organizations that also play an important role, including musician's unions (e.g. American Federation of Musicians), not-for-profit performance-rights organizations (e.g. American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers) and other associations (e.g. International Alliance for Women in Music, a non-profit organization that advocates for women composers and musicians).
